About the Role
Herc Rentals is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager to lead the maintenance operations of our rental equipment fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment repair, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a consistent schedule for preventative maintenance
- Leading a team of mechanics to ensure all equipment is in top working condition
- Diagnosing complex technical issues with internal combustion engines, DC electrical systems, propane systems, hydraulics, and fuel systems
- Collaborating with the shop lead to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
