Master Electrician - Job description

Hercules Concrete, LLC, a Ready Mix Concrete Company servicing the Metro Detroit Area, is hiring a Full Time Master Electrician for our Metro Detroit locations. Hercules Concrete, LLC is a leader in the concrete industry, we value safety, integrity, and excellence in service to our customers. Pay Rate : $110,000 to $130,000 (based on experience)

Schedule :

Day Shift Available
Flexible Start Time
Monday- Fridays 10-12 hour shifts

Job Description :

Safely maintain, repair, and sustain operations of a broad range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to :

Preventive and Routine maintenance on concrete plant equipment

Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair electric and electronic circuits, equipment, controls, and instrumentation as needed.

Use blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, verbal instructions, and established practices to organize and complete assigned work

Install plant electrical equipment and systems as needed

Alters existing plant electrical equipment, instruments, and systems as required

Inspect and service concrete plant electrical systems and equipment

Responsible for clean-up of immediate work areas or in other areas in conjunction with assigned duties.

Qualifications :

Manufacturing and / or industrial experience as an Electrician

Skilled knowledge of the National Electric Code

Valid Driver's License

Ability to read and interpret warning labels, safety instructions, product use instructions, and electrical drawings including schematics, interconnection, conduit and cabinet drawings

Able to work in various weather conditions
