Hercules Sheet Metal has been family owned and operated since 1945. We are a busy sheet metal & metal building manufacturer. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Overhead Crane Operator with experience moving steel beams and sheet metal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating an overhead warehouse crane, ensuring efficient and safe lifting operations in an industrial environment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Duties
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks carrying steel and roofing sheet metal.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in other areas of the business as needed.
- Assist in the training of new operators as needed.
