About the Role :
Here We Grow Early Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated School-Age Program Lead Teacher to join our amazing team. In this role, you’ll lead purposefully, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for school-age children to learn, play, and grow. Your leadership will inspire staff and positively impact children’s lives every day.
What You’ll Do :
- Safely transport children in a 15-passenger van from local elementary schools to our center. (We’ll provide training!)
- Plan and implement activities that spark curiosity and support child development in areas like :
- Gross and fine motor skills
- Language, math, and literacy
- Creativity through music, art, and dramatic play
- Science, sensory exploration, and social-emotional skills
- Create a flexible daily schedule that balances play, lessons, meals, and rest while maintaining a consistent routine.
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and valued.
- Use positive guidance to help children grow emotionally and socially.
- Build strong relationships with families by :
- Posting weekly lesson plans in the classroom
- Having daily conversations with parents during drop-off and pick-up
