What are the responsibilities and job description for the HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT position at Hereford ISD Central Administration?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Facilitate the efficient operation of the Human Resources Office, provide clerical services, and provide administrative support and assistance (as directed) in finance and procedures for the district's special programs, special grants, and special projects that are active in any given school year.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma or GED
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Proficient skills in keyboarding, word processing, and file maintenance
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
- Ability to multi-task
Experience:
- Prefer at least three years of secretarial experience, preferably in a public education environment.
