What are the responsibilities and job description for the HHS ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL position at Hereford ISD?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist the school principal in overall administration of instuctional program and campus level operations. Coordinate assigned student activities and services as directed by the principal.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas Principal/Admin certification or equivalent
- TTESS Certfied
- Valid Texas teaching certification
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Thorough understanding of school administrative operations
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
- Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
EXPERIENCE:
- Three to Five years teaching experience preferred
