What are the responsibilities and job description for the WEST CENTRAL - SPED (INCLUSION) INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE position at Hereford ISD?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under supervision of certified teacher.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Ability to work well with children with special needs
- Ability to communicate effectively
EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer experience working with children (i.e.: as a substitute teacher, as a teacher’s aide, or as a day care worker)
