Job Description:
We are seeking Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of in-home assistance. Caregivers will work to support our partner Integrated healing medicine directly. The ideal candidate will combine home care experience with empathy to ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of in-home assistance. Caregivers will work to support our partner Integrated healing medicine directly. The ideal candidate will combine home care experience with empathy to ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance as needed
- Remind patients to take medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, etc.) per client needs.
- Administer and monitor nebulizer treatments, ensuring proper usage and patient comfort while following all guidelines and safety protocols. (Herewith & IHM to provide training)
- Assist patients with exercises and movement routines, ensuring proper technique and safety. (Herewith & IHM to provide training)
- Assist clients with getting around (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Meal Prep as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, as needed.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes
- Provide companionship
- Document care activities
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect clients and self.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar credential preferred.
- Previous caregiving experience 1-2 years preferred
- Ability to perform basic tasks (e.g. checking vital signs).
- CPR/First Aid certification (required). Herewith will offer training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and families.
- Compassionate and detail-oriented approach to caregiving.
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and mobility tasks.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and safety guidelines.
