Job Summary :

Routes incomplete orders and samples.

Specific Responsibilities :

Fills orders from stock.

Tags orders with due week color tag and place into production.

Receives copies of orders from the office.

Receives any change notices and attaches them to the order forms.

Forwards orders to appropriate operations for completion on articles unable to fill from stock.

Locates ring orders that are incomplete.

Routes incomplete orders through needed operations to complete the orders.

Routes samples through all manufacturing operations.

Takes orders to Staging-Shipping operation.

Must have the ability to multitask.

Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma / GED equivalent suggested.

Experience in Production Control and / or Purchasing is a plus.

Ability to read and write in English is required.

Must be able to work overtime and on Saturdays during busy seasons

Ability to establish priorities and work independently.

Proficient computer skills : Sending e-mails, working with word processing and spreadsheet software programs. (Microsoft Word and Excel skills are a plus)

Strong communication skills

Multi-tasking skills.

Ability to work well with people having different ethnic, social, or educational backgrounds; understand the cultural differences of different groups.

Physical Demands :

Ability to walk around the office and through the factory briskly.

Squatting, bending and lifting no more than 10 pounds.

Near Vision

Finger agility is required for operations of computer keyboard and adding machine

Must be able to endure long periods of sitting.
