- Supports Team Leads in insuring proper workflow through the department.
- Aids and assists Team Lead as needed.
- Help achieve daily department goals focusing on quality & efficiency.
- Motivate and encourage all team members to achieve hourly, daily, and weekly production goals.
- Help Team Leader develop and implement daily quotas and production goals
- Understand team member training levels and skills to efficiently move personnel based on department attendance issues (call-ins)
- Know and understand the entire process of the department and be able to correct any potential problems that may arise
- Identify problems before it makes it to the Team Lead and try to minimize impacts to production goals
- Strong communication skills.
- Reading, writing and math skills commensurate with job duties.
- Will meet production and quality standards for this operation.
- Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential functions.
- Understand the steps of construction and quality standards.
- Safe and efficient use of a single needle and multi needle sewing machine.
- Must have the skills and experience to perform other sewing operations in the department.
- Perform all functions/tasks within the Manufacturing Department.
- Lift up to 90 lbs. multiple times a day.
- Sitting or standing for 8 hours a day or longer during the busy season
