Registrar
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the registrar is responsible for the maintenance of student records at the campus level, processing of enrollment, transfers, and withdraws from the campus. Works independently in the performance of all functions necessary to maintain an efficient and organized office in a professional and confidential manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
Greet, give tours, and answer questions from incoming students and families.
Register new students by verifying residency, eligibility, credit level status, immunization, etc., and enter data into the electronic student information system.
Coordinate and manage New Scholar Orientation.
Prepare, distribute, collect, and review 45-day screening forms to the new student population.
Manage student record system by transferring and withdrawing students, receiving and sending records, creating/generating/changing student class schedules, maintaining files, and generating reports.
Maintain student files.
Review and interpret student information, including graduation standards, transcripts, attendance, etc.
Prepare a variety of documents and reports including transfer/transcripts, grading, attendance, and correspondence.
Prepare, complete, and submit all files required for state reports and audits.
Coordinate and oversee Chronic Illness and validate renewal each semester.
Protect confidentiality of records and information about students and staff.
Record and process a variety of fiscal information including petty cash, collect fees and/or funds from student events.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
Education: High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment, educational setting preferred

Proficient with computers and office software applications including MS Office tools, and internet search engines
Outstanding organizational skills
Proficient in PowerSchool preferred
Type of fingerprint clearance: Shall be fingerprint checked pursuant to A.R.S 15-512
Physical functions: Must be able to remain in a stationary (standing or sitting) position for 75% of the time; may occasionally move around the campus 25% of the time.
Equipment used: Frequent computer and telephone use is expected.
Work Environment: May be required to move or position equipment up to 15-25 pounds. May be exposed to outdoor weather.
