Receptionist
Position Summary
Heritage provides parents and scholars a friendly and orderly academic environment. As an integral part of Heritage Academy, this position will assist current and prospective scholars and their families in a friendly and professional manner while adhering to all practices consistent with the Heritage culture, strategy, and values.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides parents and scholars a friendly and orderly academic environment.
Assists current and prospective scholars and their families in a friendly and professional manner.
Acts as the first point of contact with the public in greeting parents and scholars as well as vendors and other visitors.
Reconciles daily attendance, answers all incoming phone calls, responds to emails, and sorts delivered lunches
Assists registrar by completing and distributing forms, administering placement tests, reviewing new applications, etc.
Supports faculty by copying requested material, calling scholars out of class, etc.
Coordinates campus wide activities such as picture day, vision and hearing tests, etc.
Gives tours to potential scholars and their families.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
Education: High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a receptionist. Experience in an academic setting is preferred. Money handling experience required.

Proficient with computers and office software applications including MS Office tools, internet search engines, and QuickBooks
Outstanding organizational skills
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Type of fingerprint clearance: Shall be fingerprint checked pursuant to A.R.S 15-512
Physical functions: Must be able to remain in a stationary (standing or sitting) position for 75% of the time; may occasionally move around the campus 25% of the time.
Equipment used: Frequent computer and telephone use is expected.
Work Environment: May be required to move or position equipment up to 30 pounds. May be exposed to outdoor weather.
