ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Project Leadership & Execution
- Own the delivery of multiple, concurrent projects ranging in size and complexity, ensuring strategic alignment, timely execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Define and manage project plans using established methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, as appropriate.
- Partner closely with business and technology leads to define project phases, goals, and timelines.
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead structured project meetings, manage change requests, and balance resource constraints with project needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising of developers, UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
- Understand and articulate technical concepts, system architecture, and integration points to support sound decision-making.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project delivery standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5 years of experience managing complex, full life-cycle technical projects, preferably within software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- PMP certification desired; Scrum Master certification a strong plus.
- Background in Application Development, Web Technologies, or Systems Integration.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL or other relational databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence without authority.
