Develop and submit SBA and USDA loan applications for approval. Provide support to underwriting and closing personnel to preserve a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Pay Range:
Base Compensation is dependent upon role, experience, and skill set: Min- $79,695/yr Max- $132,825/yr
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted leader in directing the Company’s overall compliance risk management program
- Proactively identify, develop, and secure business relationships within the community:
- Leverage referral base such as attorneys, accountants, real estate and business brokers to generate business
- Display positive Bank image in community and professional associations
- Conduct all aspects of the SBA loan process:
- Interview prospective loan applicants to determine eligibility for SBA 7a, 054, and USDA B&I loan programs
- Structure the program financing according to the program guidelines
- Determine loan pricing based upon Bank Policy, project risk and market completion
- Conduct site visits to business locations, as needed
- Provide support to department in obtaining financials, site inspections, or collection activity
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Three to five years of related experience
- Proven track record of generating SBA and commercial loans demonstrating an extensive knowledge of SBA eligibility and lending criteria
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Masterful in analysis, problem solving and decision making with a substantial focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Travel may be required
Compliance Responsibilities:
The employee is responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of job related laws and regulations and must maintain current compliance knowledge by attending compliance related training seminars and staff meetings and by reading pertinent compliance related materials.
Job related laws and regulations include, but are not limited to the following: Bank Secrecy Act (BSA); Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC); Vendor Management; Information and Data Security; and SEC regulations related to corporate governance and disclosure.
