Heritage Bikes and Coffee is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Bicycle Mechanic to join our vibrant team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the bicycle repair team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repair and maintenance services.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls of bicycles, including building bikes from the frame up.
- Manage inventory, including ordering parts and tools, to ensure the shop is well-stocked and organized.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics, promoting skill development and a positive work environment.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, advice, and sales support, enhancing their overall experience.
- Utilize technology and software for inventory management, scheduling, and communication tasks.
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the workshop and retail areas.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic, with a strong foundation in all aspects of bike repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in ordering and inventory management, demonstrating an organized approach to shop operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage employees, fostering a team-oriented and productive work environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for customer service and sales.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in a dynamic retail setting.

- Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends.
