2nd Shift: 5pm-1:30am Mon-Fri
In this role, you will perform all aspects of janitorial tasks under the direction of an Area Manager. Under the direction of the Area Manager, ensure client work orders and standard janitorial duties are completed each night across multiple buildings, and assist with janitorial tasks in office buildings and other commercial spaces. This is a productive supervision role so you will be expected to perform janitorial tasks, audits, and supervise team members. Quality customer service must be provided to the client at all times. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential. English speaking ability is required for all day positions. Night opportunities do not require English. Under the direction of the building supervisor, ensure client work orders and standard janitorial duties are completed each night across multiple buildings, and assist with janitorial tasks in office buildings and other commercial spaces.
Daily job responsibilities/functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Take work orders and communications from the office and relay them to front-line cleaning team members to complete necessary requests
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions in multiple locations to complete nightly cleaning duties and maintain standard of excellence with staff based on approved cleaning specifications
- Report on any human resource/clock-in/clock-out issues on a nightly basis.
- Driving to and from building locations to perform janitorial service audits and manage the work of team members under their supervisor throughout.
- Conduct audits on a nightly basis and report back to customer service.
- Conduct annual employee reviews.
- Audit employee schedules for accuracy.
- Determining the types of equipment to be used in performing work, or materials needed.
- Deliver and collect supplies as needed for various buildings.
- Handle disciplinary actions for employees or conduct personnel meetings with the support of HR.
- Conduct interviews and relay open positions to the HR department.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Clean sinks, counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
- Providing feedback to the office on inventory levels for ordering in client buildings.
- Helping to restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
- Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
- Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
- Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
- Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lead and work effectively with a team, teaching and correcting for proper techniques as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have your own vehicle for transportation to and from the job sites.
- Candidate must be at least 18 years or older.

The work is performed in an office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. This job description is not an employment agreement or contract. ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Direct Deposit Pay every other Friday. Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and 401K with a company match available for full time employees working 30 hours per week. Paid Holidays after 90 days for full time employees working 30 hours per week. PTO accumulation for full time employees working 30 hours per week.
