The Heritage Center & Horizons Rehabilitation is hiring an outgoing activities assistant for Wellsprings, our all female memory care unit as well as a general activities for the regular units
We're looking for a kind-hearted individual that enjoys creative, learning-based activities. In this role, you will help residents with dementia participate in meaningful programs. You will have a direct impact on the quality of life of our Wellsprings patients. The programs will consist of sensory activities and cognitive activities such as:
- Trivia
- Reminiscing
- BINGO
- Wheel of fortune
- Birthday Parties (Once a Month)
SCHEDULE:
- PT 2 Sundays a month
- PT 10 hours a week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess communication and people skills
- CNA certification preferred but not required
