Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort working with infants aged 6 weeks to 16 months. They will possess a solid understanding of early childhood education principles and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of each child. This role requires a willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Duties

Key Responsibilities :

Provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants.
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities.
Monitor and track the developmental milestones of each child.
Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning atmosphere.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have experience and meet qualifications of "Program Leader" as outlined in VA State Licensing regulations

Experience working with infants, preferably in a childcare setting

Knowledge of early childhood education practices and developmental milestones

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children

Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional growth
