Overview
The Vice President of Clinical Services and Finger Lakes Residential is instrumental in leading an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to service delivery for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The VP of Clinical Services and Finger Lakes Residential is responsible to provide leadership and oversight to residential leadership and clinical, and nursing teams as we fulfill our customer winning proposition and meet our mission. In addition, this role collaborates with agency leadership to implement strategies and systems that ensure high-quality services to persons supported by the agency. They promote the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.

Pay rate for this position: $135000 / yr - $158000 / yr
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master degree in human services or related field
- 5 or more years of experience working in long-term care and providing care for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred
- Five to seven years of general clinical experience; a minimum of three years leading and developing high-performing teams
- Knowledge of OPWDD strategies, regulations and compliance standards.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities, a high level of emotional competence and have previous experience working independently and managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships with all colleagues, staff, customers and key stakeholders. Acceptance of a variety of lifestyles, behaviors and cultural and spiritual practices. Promote diversity, equity and inclusion activities.
- Must demonstrate excellent strategic thinking, problem -solving and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and follow-through required. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with data systems and data analysis in support of continuous process improvement preferred
- A valid NYS driver’s license that complies with agency standards
