What you will be doing
The Care Assistant provides direct care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a warm, approachable individual with a strong work ethic, hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for residents. The Care Assistant must be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Monitor and record residents' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes to the appropriate team members, including managers and medication leads.
- Ensure residents’ care plans are followed and updated, providing personalized care as required.
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and families, using positive and respectful language

About you
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Completion of mandatory in-service training, both online and in-person, as required
