What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aggregate Laboratory Technician position at Heritage Construction + Materials?
The Quality Control Technician will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and consistency of construction aggregate materials. This includes inspecting, sampling, and conducting routine laboratory testing according to standard test methods.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tests to ensure the quality and consistency at the point of production and shipping. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and recommend corrective action for issues arising on field and jobsite locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather quality samples from large aggregate stockpiles
- Perform all required and aggregate quality testing while maintaining necessary paperwork and computer files
- Stay current on all INDOT certifications
- Maintain proper order and cleanliness in the laboratory, stairs, and catwalks
- Perform other duties as assigned
