Caregiver for Assisted Living Facility

Upland, CA

Part time- Noc shift

17 / HR Heritage Court Assisted Living Facility, aGenerations Healthcare is in search of a Caregiver to join our team.

Job Summary :

The primary role of the Caregiver is to provide care and supervision to residents as needed, as indicated in the service plan, including those activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing and assistance with taking prescribed medications as ordered by physician. Ensures safe and healthful living accommodations and services. Respond to resident's needs and requests.

Duties (include but are not limited to) :

• Assists residents with activities of daily living such as showering, dressing and escort services as needed
• Ensures residents get down to meals in the dining room, or have tray service if temporarily unable to leave room for meals
• Sees that resident's rooms are neat, clean and orderly. Notify housekeeping if room needs additional cleaning
• Observes residents and report any changes in condition to the Wellness Coordinator or Family / responsible if after hours
• Reports any occurrences to the next shift and write in the communications log
• Understands and follows safety and sanitation rules and properly reports any violations to Wellness Nurse

Qualifications :

Please note : This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
