Job Purpose: HDC is in search of a retail leader that can successfully balance their time between executing various behind the scenes operational responsibilities required for the Tasting Room to run flawlessly, while simultaneously supporting excellence in the guest experience. Additionally, candidates with inventory management, building maintenance experience, and computer skills, a plus.

The ability to meet deadlines and enjoy working with detailed processes is essential. A portion of each week would be dedicated to various administrative and computer-based tasks. The Tasting Room team relies heavily on this position to ensure what they need to be successful is readily at hand.
Qualifications:
· 3 years in a related customer service experience/retail role, preferred.
· Previous serving experience, preferred.
· Current state alcohol pouring card and food handling card. If not currently in possession of one, able to obtain one within 14 days of hire.
· Ability to use a computer and learn our Point-of-Sale system and other programs used by HDC.
· A sincere passion for excellence in all aspects of customer service.
· Strong communication skills.
· Ability to represent HDC in a professional manner, both in writing and in person.
· Attention to detail and pride in work for both internal projects and those that serve our customers and clients.
· The ability to problem-solve and use sound judgment and work without direct supervision.
· Able to work independently but also as a true team member; assume necessary duties as assigned.
· Attend company-wide and department staff meetings as indicated by the Tasting Room Supervisor.
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Community Relations
· Process new donation requests forward from HDC for pick up, including share drive sheet updates and OS sales orders.
· Support event planning, both in-house and off-site as needed.
· Support social media efforts as needed.
Retail Development
· Perform daily building standards walk, including any health department requirements. Convey and deficiencies to Staff for correction.
· Calculate and provide a weekly bar and kitchen ingredients/supply shopping list, rotating perishable products to minimize waste.
· Walk with agency inspectors during any location visit, reporting results to Compliance.
· Schedule and oversee twice-yearly building deep clean process.
· Forecast and submit bi-weekly TO requests (production spirits/supplies, spirits cases and retail merchandise/supplies).
Finance / Capital Assets
· Rotate and replenish inventory backstock as new merchandise arrives.
· Implement and maintain and effective 5-S organization plan for all location storage areas.
· Perform month end fire extinguisher and emergency light checklist.
· Perform basic monthly maintenance, including replacement of light bulbs, filters, and batteries.
· Oversee vendors that perform reoccurring services.
· Serve as the liaison to HDC I.T. for implementation and training on any new or updated software programs.
· Assist with Quarter Ending Retail Inventory preparations, counts and reconciliation.
Administration
Daily
· Resolve any Revel POS open order issues before the end of day close.
· Post required Compliance materials upon arrival.
· Review any overnight Revel updates, refreshing system devices and conveying changes to Staff.
Weekly
· Complete Week Ending Compliance Packet.
· Complete Mid-Month Compliance Packet.
· Gather and process any outgoing retail items for location cross-dock.
· Breakdown, store, and process receipt of B-Weekly TO’s, working to correct discrepancies on units received.
· Process retail transactions in OS (production orders, sales orders, and transfer orders).
· Update Revel item inventory, receiving or wasting, from processed production orders, sales orders, and transfer orders.
· Print and replenish standard Tasting Room tools, including Till Closing Reports, Flight Sheets and Opening/Closing Checklists.
Monthly
· Complete Month End Compliance Packet for any non-quarter ending month.
