Duties & Primary Responsibilities : Counter Sales Clerks have direct contact with the customer. Counter Sales Clerks greet customers, determine the customer’s needs, describe merchandise to the customers and answer the customer’s questions. Additionally, a sales clerk is responsible for entering and pulling orders as well as completing customer transactions. They are expected to compute sales prices and process the order. Counter Sales Clerks are expected to keep up to date on current sales, promotions and policies regarding products, payments, exchanges, etc.
A Warehouse Associate helps keep the branch properly supplied and organized. They will aid with inventory shipments / transfers and compare the requisition roster of the branch to the items received in the shipment / transfer. Warehouse Associates will also be responsible for maintaining documentation of inventory for accurate stock counts and accounting purposes.
Other Roles & Functions :
Counter Sales Clerks may need to provide product demonstrations to customers. Additionally, they will be required to answer the store phone. The Warehouse Associate may arrange orders placed by customers while creating accurate shipping documentation for those orders when necessary. They will also inspect physical inventory shipments / transfers for defects before moving them either for storage or display in the storefront.

Qualifications :
- Exceptional customer relations skills
- Knowledgeable in HVAC service / sales
- Basic computer skills, including but not limited to using order management software
- Understanding of the requisition process and all its documentation processes and procedures
- Able to handle multiple assignments at once
- Strong organizational skills
- Perceptive, aware and safe minded
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
