What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager position at Heritage Distribution?
Duties & Primary Responsibilities: A Territory Manager is responsible for meeting with customers to identify their needs and close sales deals. Their main duties include traveling within their assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales deals, providing clients with information about new products, updates, services, and training.
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Prepares estimates, quotes, product proposals, and cost benefits as needed.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Interfaces with other Young Supply Company team members on a continuous basis to ensure that all customer expectations and requests are being met.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Roles & Functions: Territory Managers are responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and potential clients.

- Bachelors degree in Sales, HVAC, or related field or at least three or more years of experience in HVAC sales or related field.
