What are the responsibilities and job description for the SIA '25 Elementary (Grades K-5) Intervention Aide- Heritage ES position at HERITAGE ELEMENTARY?
There will be multiple Elementary (Grades K-5) Intervention Aide position(s) available for the Summer Intervention Academy Program 2025 (SIA '25) at Heritage Elementary School, Monday through Thursday, June 9-18, 2025 (Session 1) and July 14-24, 2025 (Session 2) from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM (8:30-11:30 AM with students). There will be no session on June 19, 2025. Educational aide permit required; willing to meet the various medical, safety and personal needs of students; experience in a Specialized Learning Center (SLC) is preferred; and attend a mandatory one-hour paid orientation (date and time to be determined). Applicants may apply for one or both sessions.
Salary: Classified employees will be paid their individual hourly rate of pay
Internal candidates (currently employed by the Olentangy Local School District) must submit an internal online application in SchoolSpring.
External candidates must submit an external online application in SchoolSpring and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. In addition, a letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded within the Attachments section of the application.
The online Support Candidate Assessment is sent via a link under separate email cover. On occasion, the email may end up in junk or spam mail. If so, the link will be titled “Do Not Reply” with the subject “Regarding your Olentangy Local Schools application”. Keep in mind that the assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed.
