As a Mortgage Servicing Specialist, you'll play a vital role in escrow administration and provide essential clerical support for our mortgage servicing functions. You'll ensure all regulations and timelines are followed, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency. Your professional service and support will be invaluable to our members, credit union personnel, and mortgage staff, making a significant impact every day.
What you’ll do:
- Process escrow analysis and pay insurance payments.
- Create and process reports.
- Complete miscellaneous escrow functions.
- Perform assigned clerical support functions for all areas of mortgage servicing.
- Research, track, and resolve (or properly refer) problems and discrepancies related to mortgage servicing responsibilities.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with credit union personnel regarding functional responsibilities.
- Handle related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One to three years of previous or similar experience in customer service or related field.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Accurate and efficient typing skills.
- Ability to work basic computer functions and applications.
- Professional phone etiquette skills
