Heritage Generator serves North Alabama with quality emergency generators to protect homes and businesses from power outages. Our team is dedicated to quality work and customer service.

We are searching for an LP Propane Gas Technician and Generator Installer to join our family-friendly team in Huntsville. In this role, you will install propane and natural gas lines, LP tanks, and associated equipment. You will be working with iron pipe, copper tubing, poly pipe, CSST, regulators, and other equipment. Must be able to operate mini excavator, dump trailers, and other equipment. We are looking for the best-in-the-business and will pay a competitive wage for professionals. Candidates must be familiar with tank and line installation requirements, burial depths, and LP gas methods and materials.

Our company provides licensing and master qualifier status. We pull our own permits. Candidates must have, OR be able to obtain journeyman gas license to be eligible for promotion to management roles. We offer company assistance in obtaining or upgrading your Alabama natural or LP gas license.

We provide company vehicles. This position is based at our headquarters in Estero. Candidate must have their own reliable transportation to and from work, no exceptions. Candidate must have a clean background, no DUIs, clean driving record, clean criminal history.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Verifiable experience in LP gas work.

Prior experience with generators a big plus.

Compensation: $25 to $34/hour depending on experience. $25 rate is for someone with limited experience, up to $34 for a highly experienced professional. 1 week paid time off begins accruing after six months. 7 annual holidays. Company paid cell phone, vehicle, work shirts or uniforms. We offer 40 hours a week.
