POSITION SUMMARY :
The Grocery Overnight Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves with received merchandise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Process freight delivery,
- Creates new displays sets end caps, stocks shelves, zone / face all isles,
- Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags,
- Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise,
- Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed,
- Maintaining inventory in stockroom,
- Prominently display promotional merchandise,
- Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
- Other duties as assigned.
