- Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college
- Must have an active RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Five (5) years of supervisory or nursing administration experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care preferred
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing functions in a long-term care facility
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs
- Ability to work well with a variety of individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
