Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing minor procedures and in-house lab work in accordance with HEALTH CENTER policy and candidate qualifications
- Supervising and/or coordinating the activities of patient care and/or support staff
- Participating in program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation relating to specific job, clinic, and program functions
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers within the clinic team and community agencies to provide comprehensive client care.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A medical license from the State of Idaho to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant under a Physician's supervision
- A medical certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Inc.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, DEA, and State of Idaho Controlled Substance Registration numbers
- Bachelor's degree required; at least 3-5 years' experience as a primary care provider desirable
