Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic testing, or hospitalization
- Supervising and/or coordinating the activities of patient care and/or support staff
- Working in collaboration with other healthcare providers within the clinic team and community agencies to provide comprehensive client care
You will have the opportunity to participate in program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation relating to specific job, clinic, and program functions.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A medical license from the State of Idaho to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant under a Physician's supervision
- A medical certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Inc.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, DEA, and State of Idaho Controlled Substance Registration numbers
- Bachelor's degree required; at least 3-5 years' experience as a primary care provider desirable
