About the Position
This part-time and PRN position offers flexibility and autonomy in your work schedule. You will be working closely with our experienced clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care and promote health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent acute and/or routine medical care to patients
- Supervise support staff in a clinical setting
- Assess patient needs for specialty referrals, diagnostic testing, or hospitalization
- Counsel and educate patients and family members regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow-up
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A medical license from the State of Idaho to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant under a Physician's supervision
- A medical certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Inc.
- Bachelor's degree required; at least 3-5 years' experience as a primary care provider is desirable
