Heritage is looking for EXCITING, CARING, FUN, and ENERGETIC people to join our family, of Direct Support Professionals in our ICF today! NO previous experience or certification necessary. Will do training in house upon hire!

JOB DUTIES:

• Teach/assist clients with:
• Routine daily living tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Basic money management
• Going out to events in their local community
• Learning healthy relationship habits
• Positive social skills * Provides or facilitates safe transportation in regards to social, medical and general developmental needs.
• Complete all documentation and outlined support services as required.
• Ensures a safe home/workplace environment
• Advocate to protect and advance the rights of clients with disabilities so that they may freely exercise their own life choices, enforce their rights, and fully participate in their community life.

Direct Support Professional / Caregiver / DSP

Job Type: PT 1st Shift hours consist of 5:30 am-9:30 am

Every other weekend is required (6:00 am-2:00 pm) and hours will vary based on if they have workshop or not.

No STNA license required. Willing to train.

Shift and Weekend Differential

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required) 18 years of age.

Requirements:

Candidates for employment are required to pass a drug screen, physical and a FBI & BCI background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.00 – 20.00 per week
