Responsibilities
Heritage Home Health Nurse Practitioners (NPs) work with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals in the patients place of residence. The NP follows agency, state, and federal policies and procedures. The NP will consult with and work under the direction of Hospice physicians. NPs must meet the following requirements :
- Be currently licensed as an NP in the state of Idaho
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred but not required
- Demonstrate knowledge and skill in NP practice
- CPR professional certification
- General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation applications
- Possess a valid state drivers license and automobile liability insurance
