What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Secretary/Receptionist position at Heritage Hospice?
Minimum requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Advanced training/degree preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong general office skills including, but not limited to: email, fax, multi-line phone, paging, and internet. Knowledge and ability to used Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Description of Position: The Secretary/Receptionist is responsible for overall management of incoming calls, ordering Durable Medical Equipment, patient status information distribution, data entry, admission charts, and greeting of guests.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens. Must have reliable transportation and appropriate auto insurance.
