Position Summary:
The Landscape Construction Crew Leader III is a senior field leader responsible for
overseeing large-scale landscape construction projects, managing multiple crew members,
ensuring adherence to design specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of
safety, quality, and eƯiciency. This role demands strong leadership, advanced technical
knowledge, and the ability to problem-solve on the fly.
All Crew Leader III team members are expected to model and uphold the company’s core

in every aspect of their work — from jobsite conduct and crew leadership to client
interactions and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise landscape construction crews on commercial and high-end
residential projects.
Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to guide installation work.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely
delivery and execution.
Ensure jobsite safety and compliance with all OSHA and company standards.
Ensure protection of client property and maintain clean, organized work areas at
all times.
Implement and maintain protection of completed work throughout the
construction process.
Oversee tool management and tracking, ensuring all tools are properly used,
maintained, and accounted for daily.
Take full responsibility for the care, cleanliness, maintenance, and reporting of
issues related to the company-provided vehicle.
Train and mentor Crew Leaders I & II, laborers, and equipment operators.
Monitor project progress and report updates to upper management.
Ensure quality control on all phases of landscape installation, including grading,
irrigation, hardscaping, planting, and lighting.
Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to avoid delays or
rework.
Manage material usage, inventory, and minimize waste.
Communicate professionally with clients or client reps when needed.
Maintain daily logs, timecards, and project documentation as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 2 years
in a leadership role.
Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape plans, grading plans, and
construction details.
Extensive experience with installation of hardscape (pavers, retaining walls,
concrete), irrigation, and planting.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to operate and train others on construction tools and equipment.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
English and Spanish speaking
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities on fast-paced job sites.
