Position Summary: The Plumbing Dept Manager will be responsible for the overall management of plumbing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who can foster a positive team culture and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plumbing operations, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage a team of plumbers, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities and improve service offerings.
- Monitor job progress and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance to ensure readiness and efficiency.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plumbing operations management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management and financial oversight.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid master plumber license in Jefferson City & Columbia.
