Position Summary:
As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential homes. You will work independently to provide exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that each job is completed efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose Plumbing Issues: Identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems, including leaks, blockages, water heater failures, and other residential plumbing concerns.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Perform plumbing repairs and install fixtures such as faucets, water heaters, toilets, garbage disposals, and more.
- Install and Replace Fixtures: Install and replace plumbing fixtures and appliances according to local codes and customer specifications.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with homeowners, explaining plumbing issues and offering clear service options and solutions.
- Ensure Code Compliance: Follow all local plumbing codes and regulations to ensure safe, high-quality work.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and other job-related information for future reference.
- Preventative Maintenance: Offer preventative maintenance recommendations to help clients avoid future plumbing issues.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all tools and equipment are kept in good working condition and ready for each job.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide the highest level of customer service, addressing concerns and delivering solutions in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, especially in residential service work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, troubleshooting techniques, codes, and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team when needed.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license. We provide the service vehicle. You may need reliable transportation throughout the training process.
