Systems Integrations Analyst
Role Description
This role provides support for existing production integrations and participates in the development of new integrations between enterprise policy administration systems, third party applications and components, and internally developed carrier systems.
For new development, the Systems Integrations Analyst analyzes business requests, identifies the business value of the requests, works with business stakeholders, developers, and quality analysts to develop, test, and deploy the solution. For production support, the Systems Integrations Analyst responds to reported incidents and also identifies areas to improve processes and performance, triage and troubleshoot issues, and work with developers and quality analysts to develop, test, and deploy solutions.
The Systems Integrations Analyst will ensure that all current and future systems are working together efficiently, both among internal departments and with external networks.
The right candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in a computer science field and / or 5 years of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience using systems management tools and programs is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and good project management abilities are a must.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for projects in which support analysts are involved.
- Assist software development personnel with the investigation and resolution of issues.
- Meet with internal and external customers and represent the Systems team.
- Perform data analysis of input, internal, and output message data. Perform analysis of integration file feeds.
- Execute work plans to adapt systems and processes to accommodate changes.
- Research and present analysis for stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead and participate in complex projects.
- Trace unexpected results back to their source and diagnose underlying issues.
- Be mindful of changes to the business that may impact the current solution - new products and business lines, acquisitions, reorganizations, system changes, etc.
- Collaborate with developers and data owners to drive creation of data integration solutions as well as analyze tradeoffs between usability, best practices, and performance needs.
- Work with third party data providers to analyze and integrate offerings.
- Follow up with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction with delivered solutions.
