Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Head Bartender to lead our bar team. As the face of our bar, you will be responsible for crafting original drinks, maintaining an exceptional level of service, and overseeing the overall operations of the bar area. This job pays $15.00 plus gratuities and annual performance increase.
Responsibilities:
- Create and innovate new cocktail recipes and update our drink menu regularly.
- Train and lead a team of bartenders and bar backs to ensure excellent Member service.
- Maintain inventory, including ordering supplies, controlling costs, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with Members and guests to provide a personalized bar experience.
- Implement strategies to increase profitability and work within budget constraints.
- Attend regular staff meetings and provide feedback to improve service and operations.
- Handle Member inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender with at 3 least years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, and bar equipment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- A flair for creating visually appealing and delicious drinks.
- Certification in food safety/handling or willingness to obtain.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a high-volume bar or Country Club setting.
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory software.
- Bartending certification or relevant training.
