What are the responsibilities and job description for the Country Club PM Bartender (Seasonal) position at Heritage Palms HOA?
Heritage Palms has over 1000 homes, serving a blended community of 55 members. Heritage Palms prides itself in exceptional tailored customer service for each member. Under supervision of the Dining Room Supervisor; the server’s primary function is prompt, efficient and professional service to our members and guests. The servers should, always, present a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude.
- Provide the utmost in customer service with attention to detail and customer needs, and immediate attention to each guest upon seating and entering the room.
- Answers questions regarding any menu item, offers suggestions and describes specials to guests. Takes food and beverage orders from guests, maintaining a friendly helpful attitude, follows up with guests assuring satisfaction and replenishes items as needed or requested.
- Maintain clean and organized workstation side work duties and keeps dining areas clean.
- Is responsible for all checks and transactions, signatures and assuring appropriate and organized handling of these items.
- Follow established standards (Association policies and practices) for greeting, all services, food delivery and general service techniques using practiced tray Service.
- Must assist banquets with event preparation for events as needed per F&B supervisor & Manager.
- Follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's).
- Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the F&B Managers.
- Report to the F&B Manager on any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
- Pour Drinks and have excellent customer service experience.
- Must Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings provided by HOA or food and beverage managers.
- Perform other job projects and work-related projects as required.
- Evening Shifts
- Must obtain a Riverside County Food Handlers Card & Alcohol Training Certificate.
- Must have flexible schedule; which includes days, evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work 8 hour long shifts.
- A minimum of two years background and practical experience as a restaurant server/ Banquet Server.
- Must possess the physical strength, stamina and agility required to perform tasks as described.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
- Must be familiar with a POS system in relation to F&B environment.
- Good verbal, written and organizational skills, ability to maintain a professional attitude, work with homeowners, outside customers, and all levels of staff.
- Can be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
