What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Security Officer (Fulltime) position at Heritage Palms HOA?

Heritage Palms is a 55 and older secured gated community with entry access controlled by Security Officers in both North and South gates. Our Officers will be expected to follow company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate gate access system ABDI, all residents contact information is contained
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people onto property
- Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches
- Control traffic by directing visitors and vendors.
- Provide excellent customer service when answering the phone or in verbal contacts with residents
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful act
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Patrol designated areas to verify any unlawful activity, patrol the neighborhoods within HP and also the outside perimeter streets
- Rules & Regulations enforcement
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of verifiable experience.
- A valid driver's license will be required
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Heritage Palms will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
