Responsibilities
- Provide a range of beauty services including haircuts, coloring, styling, eyelash extensions, and skin treatments.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided to clients.
- Upsell additional services to enhance the client experience and meet their beauty needs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in beauty treatments, including dermal fillers and botulinum toxin treatments.
- Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for hair coloring services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless operation within the salon or med spa.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proficient in retail sales techniques with an ability to upsell products and services effectively.
- Familiarity with salon software for appointment management and client tracking.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a hygienic workspace.
- Experience with eyelash extensions application techniques is preferred.
- Understanding of color theory as it applies to hair coloring services.
- Knowledge of med spa treatments such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxin is a plus.
- Skills in barbering techniques are advantageous for providing diverse grooming services.
