As the Concierge Aide at Heritage Plaza Nursing Center you will assist the clinical nursing team by providing non-clinical care to our residents and patients.

Qualifications :
Complete familiarity with duties and scope of practice.
Highly developed observation skills.
Vision must be adequate to read dining cards EHR.
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
Able to tactfully communicate with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
Successful completion of a state-approved training course (for Feeding Assistance)
Essential Functions :
Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
Assists Certified Nurse Aides in areas such as bed making, passing ice water, passing trays, obtaining meal choices, and other tasks within their training.
Answers call lights and assist in areas within the scope of practice.
Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions / needs to resident care plans.
Performs incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
After successful completion of Feeding Assistant Course :
Provides dining assistance only for residents who have no complicated feeding problems.
Assistance with food and liquid may be provided at meal and non-mealtimes only in the dining room.
Assists with meal selection process prior to meals
In an emergency, the paid feeding assistant must call a supervisory nurse for help.
