Activities Assistant

Heritage Pointe is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activity Assistant to join our team and help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful programs. The Activity Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring our residents have opportunities to interact, engage, and contribute to our community. This position will provide assistance, leadership, and administrative support, ensure smooth front desk operations, and deliver exceptional customer service while being the welcoming face of Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in organizing and leading activities for the residents of the healthcare units, including Memory Care unit.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding conversations with residents and families, unless the health and well-being of the resident is affected.
• Assist with transporting residents and being available during organized activities planned for the Heritage Pointe community.
• Provide 1 : 1 activity interactions with residents.
• Assist in performing other duties as requested by the Activity Director.
• Complete facility in-services, as required by the facility.
• Maintain good working relations with staff in all departments.
