What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delegation Oversight Specialist position at HERITAGE PROVIDER NETWORK?
The delegation oversight specialist supports the Delegation Oversight team in the management and
monitoring of delegated health plan compliance which complies with all applicable regulations and
statutes in adherence with the HPN Compliance Framework.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Assists with department and network compliance to regulatory and accreditation agency
delegation standards.
2. Collects, intake, and update health plan templates, including those received by the medical
groups into tracking tool in a timely manner.
3. Provide concise feedback to medical group related to accuracy of templates.
4. Keep record of all templates received and follows HPN’s standard organizational folder
structure.
5. Assists in the collection of file documents from medical group IT systems to prepare for all
health plan and HPN audit processes.
6. Takes lead or assists in the preparation of oversight reports for presentation by the HPN
Clinical Services Director and/or Manager of Delegation Oversight, as assigned by leadership.
7. Collates, distributes, and tracks all reports for the HPN Clinical Services Manager of
Delegation Oversight for presentation at appropriate health plans, committees and or
meetings, as assigned.
8. Provides administrative support to leadership during meetings for preparation of data,
documents, and maintaining minutes, as assigned.
9. Assists with the review and distribution of health plan letter templates, as assigned.
10. Stays abreast of state and federal regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
11. Participates in Health Plan meetings, as needed.
12. Works with medical groups to provide any additional needed evidence for health plan audits
related to template usage.
13. Assists with delegated health plan oversight audits of the Heritage medical groups and
supports the centralized health plan audit process, where applicable.
14. Assists with improving organizational processes within the department as assigned.
15. Reports to manager any deficiencies found in the reporting or data collecting process within
the scope of the job (s) assigned.
16. Collaborates with internal departments and areas under Delegation Oversight to update
processes and data repositories.
17. Contributes to the achievement of department objectives.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $26.00 and $32.00/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
