Job Description
Embassy at Morehead City is a beautiful four-acre property situated on the peninsula between Newport River and Bogue Sound, offering assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care services.
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, evaluate and implement treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement patient's individualized treatment plans developed by the PT
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to aid in patient recovery
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Required Skills:
- Strong physiology and anatomy knowledge
- Experience in inpatient and geriatric settings
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to provide patient care with compassion and empathy
- Knowledge of home community care practices
