The LPN treatment nurse at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill is responsible for providing primary skin care to patients under the supervison of attending physicians and registered nurses. The role emphasizes adherence to applicable laws, regulations and Life Care standards while ensuring quality nursing care and effective communication within the heatlhcare team.
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality nursing care to patients
Identify, manage, and treat specific skin disorders and lesions
Educate CNA's on proper positioning and skin care
Report changes in patients' conditions to the RN
Assist in the evacuation of patients
Maintain profressional relationships with associates and vendors
Ensure confidentiality of proprietary information
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
In addition to providing treatments, this LPN will also assist in completeing new resident admission evaluations that may be needed during their shift.
