We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 2:30 pm -10:00 pm
- Will also include a Sunday rotation, working one Sunday every four weeks, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.
- Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity and mental health.
- Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Engaging and empathetic character, with a Homestead of tenacity and determination.
- Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students to coach them in their treatment progression.
- Implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team.bEnsure that a healthy, comfortable, safe, and caregiving environment is maintained. Participate in a wide variety of activities with the students, encouraging and supporting them to develop the skills associated with the tasks (i.e., sports, bike riding, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, etc.).
- Properly use a variety of mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who need support and guidance during escalated moments.
- Transport the students to and from off-campus appointments and activities using company vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 20 years of age or older to apply.
- Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds.
- A valid Driver's License, and no more than one traffic violation on a driving record in the past three years to be approved to transport students using company vehicles.
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
